Tried this cask strength rum neat. It is extremely fruity in the nose. The palate starts with a strong attack (especially with the first sip) with clearly dominating spiciness. The finish is very extended and having freed itself from the spiciness the fruity notes – well remembered from the nosing – take over again. So if you like/can endure the spicy attack you will be rewarded with very intense fruity notes.
