NR: Good Panama rum, one of the better

I get typical Panama flavours.
Vanilla in the nose with dry fruits, notes of fermented vegetables and typical wood aromas. Then prune, oak, vanilla and grasy aromas. Not complex nose, but pleasant. The oak is very present and bright. If you love panama rums for it, this one is good.
The taste starts sweet with honey and caramel, dry fruits, then it turns spicy. I get also prune and white oak. The middle is more sweet, burned sugar, white oak, vanilla and caramel. Also dry fruits.
These flavours are from a column still I think. Not bad combination, I like it.
The finish is spicy, I get dry fruits and vanilla, of course the typical oak (it's like you a licking the oak barrel).
Even I don't like Panama rums very much, I like the aromas of this one with this typical Panama wood influence. It reminds me of the Chairmans 2005 rum. Wathch out it's spicy.
I would rate this one with 84 points.
