Doorly's 14-Year

I can appreciate this Four Square rum. For the price point $52 at Total Wine it has a nice nose, color, mouthfeel and aftertaste. Dry, spicy and woodsy but hints of floral and fruit. Not for those who like sweeter style rums. Having rated many ESC Forecasks it gets an 8. If I had not a 9. It is a bourbon cask rum. With a Madeira finish.

This bottle can match up to the FS ECS release for a more afordable price.
Just an amazing rum

Deze rum is niet voor mietjes heeft een sterke taste en de afdronk is super. Daardoor als je een paar slokjes drink pas echt door hebt hoe lekker ie echt is

Smells very sweet, caramel, vanilla and dried fruits. The taste has a nice burn but gets smooth very fast. At first it's the caramel, vanilla and lots of fruit. After it settles the wood tones it down nicely into a complex mix of flavours.

It's an exiting rum to drink, pricewise around 60/70€.
It's one that I will keep in my (little) collection.

Beautiful amber color. Nice woodsy smell, with a light butterscotch background. A light burn in the tongue and around the mouth. The sip gives a sharp bit of wood. Smooths out with the swallow with the wood notes, a touch of cinnamon and a very little bit of butter.
My highest praise is that I would buy it again.

Kan niet missen eigenlijk

Beautiful bottle and box. Tasty rum, refined taste for experienced rum gourmets. Amber color, slightly sweet. Pleasant taste on the tongue, noticeable alcohol strength.

First time I tried this rom I was new to rum, so I didn’t really like it at all. Couple of years in my palate and taste has developed, so now I can say it’s a rum of the higher quality.

Powerfull, smooth for 48 % .Let it some time. Long lasting flavour.

A few ice cubes to let this beast settle for 5 and took in !
