Like any dark rum should, the nutty, sweet, heartily molasses comes right through from the beginning. Not bad, but using a stronger molasses will not make up for proper aging. 6-12 months just isn’t long enough. The burn, something you don’t get with Plantation Dark eventually comes up and bites ya.
