Rumbero 7-Year

Quite smooth, some vanilla and sweet but not too sweet. So actually not too bad if you consider the low price.

It's nothing to be excited about, too rough around the edges and no particular taste to discuss but for the price you pay, you are at least not being deceived. This rum has around 7g/l of sugar and some more expensive rums easily have 2x or 3x as much, so they are not made from the better stuff, they just have more sugar which covers up the flaws in the rum. I consider this a good rum for cocktails.

Good sipper, nice in cuba libre as well. Not too expensive so good for the price.

Excellent price-performance ratio. I clearly prefer this one to the Havana Club of the same age. Fruity molasses, tobacco-like oak, good aroma intensity, smooth. As usual with rum from Spanish speaking countries, it has quite a sweet taste.

Quite surprising , rather alcoholic in the nose but not in the palate. A bit sweet and in the mouth it vanishes quickly - but all in all a decent rum to the price.

Za rozumnou cenu relativně kvalitní vstupenka do rumového světa. Na jazyku se vám rozlinou tóny vanilky, karamelu a dubového dřeva. Sice má ostřejší závěr, ale v této cenové kategorii je to odpustitelné. Rozhodně je chuťově lepší jak Republika či Heffrony.

První ochutnání - ve vůní cítím tlející trávu jako u rumu z Jamajky a něco hodně květinově ovocného, ale neumím to určit. Na jazyku je vcelku jemný, sladší, ale ne přeslazený s lihovým závěrem. Nakonec získává poměrně nízké ocenění pro svůj lihově nedobrý dozvuk a celkový nevýrazný dojem. Postupným přechutnáváním, zjišťuji, že tento rum opravdu není pro mne.

Alles in allem ein gar nicht so schlechter Rum für Einstieger aber man darf keine komplexen Aromen erwarten. Vanilig, süß und bestimmt gut mit Cola. Als pur Genuss eher eine einmalige Entscheidung.
