Drunk this one pure and with coke. With coke it was one of the beste rumcokes of my life. Pure it was to simple but we paid 16 € for a bottle so what can you expact.

Now theres nothing wrong with this rum but I think of Venezuela and unfortunately i can think of 3 others that I would say are better from that climate. Quite a soft amber with light spice and fruits with an oaky finish. Fine for cocktails.

Agradable color dorado intenso, buen sabor suave al paladar. Para beber con hielo.

Sligtly better mouthfeel than Cacique Anejo, with similar traits, more or less the same price, chocolate, nuts and wood in the smell, same goes with the taste, which is on the sweet side and mildly spicy. The aftertaste is mild, with a kind of a sweet mouthfeel which signals some sugar has been added I guess, but not much. Overall it is a good value for money, I can sip this one and it works mixed with coke well.
