Funk, apples? Great aroma! Surprisingly mild taste, almost no burning, I think that is very good choice for cocktails where little or no additional taste are expected from alcohol. Its just that, nothing legendary as label states about it. Anyway, better in cocktail, but shots are also viable option:)
