I got a sample of a Clement 2000 in cask strength.
Wow the nose is sweet, dark and medical.
I get dry fruits, lime, grasy notes, a lot of caramel, burned sugar, oak and wet barrel.
Then leather with medical notes in the background. Imagination of ripe peaches.
Great nose, I like this dark agricoles. This is on the level of Domaiseau 1995. Let's hope I get the same flavors in the taste that the nose has promised.
The taste starts with leather, turns immediately medical. There is some wood like bark chips, caramel and grasy notes. The start ist dark and dirty with bright grasy notes, pretty cool.
The body is very complex, the mouth is still medical and I get again leather, caramel, grasy notes, pine, lemongras, some apricot (a fruit is there, not shure whether it's the apricot). Then flowery notes at the end, an impression of the dentist and mint.
The finish starts a little bit spicy, again grasy with apricots and flowers. The taste is medical, it's everywhere and also leathery.
The aftertaste is minty, grasy and I still have leathery mouth and a little bit sweetness from caramel.
This shows what agricole can offer, this sets agricole on another level for me. I'm excited and would rate this with 93 point.
