Banana in the nose, solid taste well rounded and smooth with caramel taste, finish bites like spicy buffalo chicken. So if you like rum and spicy food this was made for you.

Update: friend tasting with me said spicyness is peppery which is true

Update: bought a 2nd bottle and noticed it had a different batch J602 that was lower abv 63.99 and it was less peppery than the 1st one i tasted at 64.86

Heavy maple and currant up front, fades to a light coffee. This stuff is strong, but not quite overpowering. Very good.

I got a sample of this one.
After googling around the one I got is a blend of up to 50% Jamaican rum and finished in Bourbon casks.
Some banana and other tropical fruits on the nose.
Taste it starts a bit harsh, but the typical Jamaican funkiness comes after some time.
After taste is prolonged and with some rotten fruits (in a good way).
It is very good but I think is a bit overpriced.

Cask strength blend of rum from 3 islands and Guyana. Martinique as one of the islands so likely has some agricole in it. Price has put me off but today is the day. Medium yellow gold brown color likely the the Jamaican addition. A little Hogo on scent with alcohol first sip was an anticipated manly burn at 63.99% followed by mild Hogo. I’m going to let this chill a few before finishing. Not my cup of tea, mostly Jamaican funk with a bit harsh Martinique agricole notes, maybe a hint of Port Mourant. Frankenstein in my book save your money unless you like strange expensive rums.7 was kind.
