This is a smooth clean taste. It is easy to drink straight on ice and is almost a shame to conceal the flavor by making a mixed drink with it, though it is excellent in that arena as well.
With higher alcohol, I consume less over a slower period of time and enjoy it. Good job guys, it will stay on my beverage list for a long time.

I was initially attracted to Sailor Jerry rum because I have a friend with an original Sailer Jerry tattoo. His style was classic Polynesian. Actually, the rum turned out to be very good, either mixed or on its own. Vanilla/caramel taste, but very understated. No burning aftertaste. Excellent in the spiced rum category.

one of the first rums i tasted and after tasting some more expensive ones I always come back to Jerry Rum. It's what rum should be, strong with lots of flavour and goes down smooth. I like it best mixed with ginger beer and lime...mmmmmm refreshing!!!
