Sailor Jerry Spiced

I could hardly imagine any spiced rum as a sipper, but Sailor Jerry Spiced is definetly on the top of my mixers list. Nice color and nose with dominant vanilla (but much more balanced than CM) and my favourite - black pepper and nutmeg notes.
Best mixes with Cherry Cola.

Sailor Jerrys spiced is a much better option for mixers than Captain Morgan, may be slightly more expensive but taste is far better.

Definitely a step above the market leader Captain Morgan but still having that mass market Meh... appeal. best used as a mixer to show that you are better than that other bar across the street

Strong spicy flavour which will be reassuring to fans

Grew up on Captain. Jerry came along and made me a man. Great as a mixer and much stronger than Captain so you actually taste the vanilla through the cola. Great to have on the shelf, but need more mature rums for sipping. Branding has always been excellent, and want all the Jerry tattoos.

Had couple of shots in a bar.
Was a bit surprised - it is smooth and 46° does not hurt. But the taste is just the spice, hard to detect rum.

This is the first rum I tried many years ago that sucked me in. It's not my main go to anymore but like a 10 piece mcnugg at 11pm, there's that nostalgia that draws me back.

So my rum friends in Barbados made me sweat I would never drink Captain Morgan’s ever again.

So I got home 2 months later and started drinking Sailor Jerry before I started drinking the good stuff.

I would either mix with ginger ale or sip it. It would help me unwind from a tough week at work. Not the worst - plus there is the woman in a bikini on the inside of the bottle - lol

Good spice smell, a little harsh for sipping. For this price range I found better rums.
