Myers's Planters Punch

This is, as label indicates, blend of the Jamaican and Canadian rums.
But I did not detect Canadian, just the Jamaican classic taste.
Dark, oily, warm, soft, a bit spicy. Funky like Appleton 8 or 12.
Very happy with 1.14L bottle size for 42$ ;o)

I found this to be a very sweet rum, seems like a lot of added sugar. Flavors were nice, not overpowering.
As a straight sipper, it's just too sweet for me.
In a dark & stormy it's very nice, and it was surprisingly VERY good in a Pina Colada. It didnt overpower the drink, but it was definitely noticeable and added a very interesting dimension to the drink.

Don't let the price tag fool you; this is a tasty rum. Decent enough to sip neat or on the rocks (there's a bit of fat funkiness) and it works well in any cocktail or Tiki drink.

No fancy bottle...just a GREAT rum !!

The smell of molasses fills your nostrils with wisps of Caribbean flavours..in the air
I had NO problem ENJOYING this excellent rum !
