Ron Zacapa 23 Solera

I cannot remember him too well, which is a minus for a rum of this price. he was solid, i rememberm but bothing special.

I actually prefer sweeter rums, but this one is just a bit over the top. Not harsh, but lingers on palate quite long. I understand everyone's taste is different, I get primarily banana and honey.

Fantastic rum, very smooth, vanilla taste and somehow tobacco. Perfect sipping rum but will change your life in a cuba libre.

It has a round taste with some elements of almond and molasses. Too sweet for me, but if you like a round and sweet rum this may be a good candidate!

Expected a lot of this rum. Not so special as I hoped.

This is the right Rum to Start
Smooth and sweet aromas vanilla, , oak, friend Apple , citrus fruits and sherry; pleasant carrying flavors of subtle spicy oak, a nutty element, brown sugar and molasses.

Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, tabaco, spice, barrel, woody, and charred. Flavor follows the smell, it's a little sweet but fantastic flavor.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s still good. But you’re paying a premium for the name. It’s the 1942 tequila of the rum world. At least in the United States.

I tasted this rum some months ago. I liked it, it is rich in flavours and has its complexity.
