Velmi pitelny rum s lehkou vuni dreva, melasy, s lehkou chuti (jenom 40%) stavy z cukrove trtiny.
Sweet aroma with caramel notes. Rum have little and subtile burn. Recommend for all
Sladkost: 0/3
Ochutnán vzorek
Pohodový, ale trochu nevýrazný rum. Určitě nejslabší kousek ze série válečných lodí.
This is my second Admiral Rodney rum and I am sure it is not the last. Nice sweet, smooth taste with vanilla and raisins notes. Very good stuff!

Worthy tribute 9 out of 10
Apparantly the british HMS monarch battleship fought in the battle of copenhagen (capital of Denmark). It received a fatal whopping and is now tributed with this fine rum. It's a blend of both bourbon and port cask ageing.
The port notes are surely present in the nose with red fruits like cherries and raspberries. There's also some wooden lacquer, brown sugar, vanilla and wet oak in there.
Its a medium bodied rum with a fairly large amount of sweet elements, but this must come from the port ageing, as there's no sugar added.
The taste is initially pleasant with naturally sweet port notes, then a more rummy character takes over with leather, sweet pipe tobacco and burnt brown sugar.
The finish is great with toasty oak and spices to even things out.
It's feels very balanced. Especially if you feel like a sip with some sweetness, but don't really like the added sugar offerings.
