Cutwater Light

Sampled at the Laka Lono Rum Club Tasting on 1/25/23. The current bottle reads “Cutwater White.” Clear in color. Aroma is of grain- wheat and barley. Slight nuttiness. Hard alcohol burn up front. Vegetable and metallic. Black pepper finish.

This is a run for mixing. It has an interesting almost-agricol flavor, perhaps also described as wheaty or grassy.
My initial thought was that the nose and taste were "science" 😂
