I’m rating the Cutwater Bali Hai Tiki Gold Pineapple flavor. Sampled at the Laka Lono Rum Club Tasting on 1/25/23. Pours a deep amber color. Very strong chemical pineapple aroma, but the Rep claims it’s real pineapples. I also get a slight bit of spruce to the nose. Lemons. Flavor is crazy sweet like a pineapple upside down cake. Cotton candy. Big vanilla. Cloves.

There is nothing special about this rum. Claims to have hints of pineapple and coconut but delivers none of that. Heavy alcohol burn. Used it for a mixer during an afternoon of blender drinks. Pina Colada & frozen daiquiri. Passable under those conditions.
