Sweet can be enjoyed over ice or with lemonade A powerful flavour and hits you at 65% so much love for this rum
So this is the first bottle I tried after being informed by this site.
It simply is amazing! Allthough the 60% alcohol is a bit too much for me. I tasted alot of flavours in this rum. Sometimes I thought it even smelled like some sort of bubblegum. Great drink!
This one for me is a bit gimmicky but I canβt fault the flavour.
This rum is in my top 5!
I only drink it neat, simply with a cube of ice! Only wish would be for a bigger bottle but itβs smooth and strong.. If Iβve had a fantastic night out with friends or family this is my my drink before bed! Love it
I was curious how a 65% rum would taste and i got suprised! Sweet but not tot much for me, definetly a pineapple flavour and soms more layers. Biggest suprises was that there's very little burn, more like a warm afterglow.
Fantastically sweet rum but not overpowering. Enjoyed with Coke!
It's amazing
To be honest I'm not a spiced rum fan, however I am a Guyanese rum fan and when I read the base spirit was from the Diamond distillery pots thought let's give it a go. First impression on opening the bottle was an olfactory explosion, a big wave of alcohol (it's 65% ABV - 130% proof) followed by big hits of pineapple, banana, salted caramel and spice, the taste was amazing, again big hit of alcohol (we all sampled it neat, no ice) followed by all the same smells converted to flavours, Wow this is something different, is it a classic like my 21 year old El Dorado? Too early to say, is it possibly the best spiced rum I've tasted....yes it is. Will have get get more when I run out and it's back in stock.
this rum sneaks up on you ,,, let your guard down and you will find your self chasing the cat with a kebab under your arm at 2am
Quickly bought a botttle of this after steaming through the Rock Star Banana Bomb (even better than this, if you like bananas) and wasn't disappointed.
As with the banana one, initial blast of caramelised pineapple on the nose and palate morphs into a fierce glow as it goes down with a soft spicy nutmeg / cinnamon finish.
Great for a neat tot (with a big iceberg) and makes a really tasty rum and coke.
Wanted to give it an 8.5 rating but couldn't, it's so close to a 9 it hurts.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Strong but so flavoursome

The first taste is that blast of overproof alcohol, but this is quickly followed by a blast of pure, caramelised pineapple. Absolutely delicious (and probably lethal!)
