Sitting in the park in Medellin drinking this fine rum out of plastic cups provided by the local liquor store was a treat. Nothing fancy just a fine sipping rum, the every day rum of Colombia. Can't go wrong.
This rum is not the worst and not the best taste. I had a few Medellin rums, but they’re not the best rums.
The aromas aren’t special but then when you sip it’s fairly balanced, sweet only a little bit vanilla and caramel. Clean finish after one.
After some couple sips it’s very smooth
Not a bad rum. Spicy with a lot of tannins. The taste is watery.
It could be better, it's a little bit too harsh. I would prefer an older one.
Smell: caramel, dry fruits, vanilla, fesh fruits
Taste: bitterness, oak, caramel, spice, watery taste
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
