Centenario 12-Year

If barely started my adventure with rum, but Dictator is already my favorite one. Typical sipper (so no cola) with a deep color, taste and aromas. Quite smooth with a beautiful finish.I just love it.

My son bought this for me for Father's Day (what a great son!). I have never had Dictador Rum before and my first taste I got a rich full flavour of carmel, vanilla and roasted coffee.

Amazing taste - rich, balanced, smooth. Likely one of the best on nose. Seductive dried fruits, coffee, vanilla and still not too sweet with cool oak notes.

Still with me? Okay, this rum is spectacular. It's packed with flavor and has a long smooth finish. I'll admit their ad campaigns look like terrible 90's perfume ads but the rum itself is great!
Color: Amber
Nose: Honey, coffee, and a little bit of oak and spices
Taste: Carmel, honey, maple, and fruit. This thing is practically dessert

Nice dark color. The smell is so enticing, it's one that has stuck in my memory.
Maple syrup and butterscotch mostly, it's very pleasant.
Intense flavour of sweetness with above and vanilla. Long after taste with a lot going on. It is everything I like about rum: good looking bottle, exciting smell, delicious flavours, and not so hard on the wallet. New addition to the stock lineup.
At $65CAD on sale, this is a steal.

The main impression is as if you are drinking liquid fire, which dissolves in your chest. Perfect harmony of pepper, coffee, vanilla and toasted barrel.

Very pleasant and absolutely drinkable. I like the clean finish. Yes it's a little sweet but also a little dry which is a perfect marriage. I have to watch my consumption seeing it goes down so easily! I would've given it a 9/10 but I gave it an 8 seeing it's $60 instead of $45. But, I will be keeping this in the bar for the foreseeable future. Enjoy.

Balanced flavor and aroma. Mild, slightly sweet. Very good for me.

new to the whole rating game, but i found this rum to be very fragrant and flavorful. there is a rich sweetness like caramel that can easily take you away for a moment.
