don t know why people so disappointed with this rum, same producer as zacapa, they present here a non sweetened rum so i give it a big ok, i feel caramel, cocoa, vanilla and it s also cheaper than zacapa ...

An impulse buy at duty free. A full smooth rum, heats at the end.

The smell is very nice, wood, cocoa, leather and orange marmalade, the taste is smooth, starts with demerara sugar sweetness, turns into a spicy mixture of wood, leather, dark chocolate, and a touch of dried fruits, the aftertaste is spicy, with chocolate, wood, tobacco and citrus fruits. The spicy aftertaste makes up for a bit thin taste. Apparently, there is only little or none sugar added. Overall it is a reasonable sipper for a reasonable price.

Even if its obvious, how solera system works, I can still find the taste of old wood what is great.
Could me more dense, maybe a bit more sweet. Great rum anyways.

Nice flavour. Vanilla, dark chocolate and a little bit spicy. Not so smooth, but the alcohol is not so strong at first sip.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 1/31/22. Pours copper in color. Caramel, vanilla and toffee to the aroma. Big flavors of treacle and almonds. Lots of nut flavors. Mild peppery finish.

My first bottle of Rum. I like my choice. Good taste
