Probably my favorite Bacardi rum. I like this one with a lime wedge or used in a mojito

There are better in the $15 price range, such as Ron Barcelo anejo, but this is not bad at all. I find most lower-end Bacardi products nearly undrinkable.

An inexpensive Anejo from Bacardi. It is OK for sipping, but pretty good in cocktails. The Bacardi Anejo Highball is recommended.

Not the best for sipping, but is a good mixer

Nice smooth bacardi rum
Best as a mixer but can be sipped in a pinch. More fire than flavor.

While I would not grade the Bacardi Añejo a 7 and likely a 5/6 as a drink alone rum, it is my favorite rum in Cuba Libre. I also love this rum with strong juices as it gives it a little stronger taste.i.e mango...and yes normally, I would use clear rums w juices. This is my favorite Bacardi rum as it is still very close to the original Cuban formulas ..it is made in Mexico, not in Puerto Rico

OK but not as good as Flor de Cana #5 would again

Light oak spices and some gentle alcohol notes.
"It’s light with a slight butteriness, theres a little integration of oak and a touch of light spices. ."

Ugh! 2 out of 10
I gave away my bottle, it was like turpentine.
