C'est le seul rhum qui me procure une sensation de raffinement. Il a tout pour lui parfum boisé et chocolat, attaque vive, douceur en bouche. Equilibre entre force, sucre, légèreté et parfum. Pour moi c'est la bonne surprise. Le bon vrai plaisir de boir du rhum. C'est mon rhum par excellence et pourtant j'en ai bu d'autres en pagaille et à chaque fois des vieux et bouteilles (pas juste un verre à la sauvette ). Non là rien à dire ceux qui n'aiment pas je prends leur part sans soucis. D'ailleurs j'en ai acheté de 2 caisses de plus. 12 ans seulement du grand art.

Not bad in any way but mediocre, except smell, that is great. perfumed and reach. Taste is sweet, hints of some fruit, honey, nothing lasting. you drink it and you forget about it.

This is an excellent rum from Panama that I really enjoy. It is a great value at around $30 too. It starts out smelling like toffee and orange or apples and gets even better from there. The flavor really shines with the toffee, apple abd caramel and this has a nice viscosity so it coats the palate nicely. This is an excellent sipper.

I really enjoy this one. Not big difference with Abuelo 7 y but enough to get one moore points.

Très bon rhum, doux, différent du 7 ans que j'ai moins aimé. Un gout de chêne, caramel et noisette brûlée. Je le recommande mais un peu cher.

Este ron tiene la virtud de poderse tomar solo y con refresco. Es la primera vez que lo tomo y me gustó sin duda lo podría volver a comprar

Initial astringent alcohol aroma with lots of spice present then settles down after a while in the glass. So much wood then , tobacco and a bit of leather comes through. Almost smells older than its 12 years ? Dry tasting with chocolate and raisin overtones still quite spicy but also sweet. Bit of a burn to the back of the throat , long finish.. Reminds me a bit of ED 15..
I cannot make my mind up if im into this or not , but i've got a litre a get through so hopefully it will grow on me , good value as well.

The nose indicates a high alcohol content. The taste is very smooth.
