$110 from an online retailer. I have tasted this at the distillery and liked it straight away. Nice caramel colour. On the nose from the bottle, sultanas from Christmas pudding. Slight oily-ness at first in the mouth. Burnt caramel and some hints of vanilla then a nice warm burn after you swallow. This is nothing like the older Beenleigh rums (round bottles) that rate about 3 on this site. I would recommend this to someone who is just entering into the world of sipping rums; it's a good platform to go from. - Qld, Australia.
Visited the Beenleigh distillery south of Brisbane with a full distillery tour and tasting. 10y bottle and label design looks nice. AUD 140 per bottle at the distillery. Golden color. Plenty of oak to the nose and palate when neat sipped although the rum has been aged 8.5 years in ex-brandy vats. Dry burn at the end. Whisky fan boys can add 2 points to my score.

Tastes Quality 9 out of 10
Being more in cognac world, I have tasted this one today. I think this one tastes real quality and maturity for any discerning person. It is hard to abuse even the most sophisticated taste. B+++ guaranteed in my opinion.
I also like the fact that this is an honest product, no nasty additives, tastes aged spirit, barrel and related to that gamma, nothing odd. Good good good!
