Beenleigh Spiced

Enjoyed a lot will buy again if the price is right. Edit many rum(s) later. Unlikely to buy a spiced rum again.

This is hands down the best spiced rum on the market. Extremely smooth and great on ice, with ginger beer or even with a coke mixture.

You will not be disappointed with this nectar from the gods.

Visited the Beenleigh distillery south of Brisbane with a full distillery tour and tasting. Spiced Rum bottle and label design looks decent, but hard to bear the AUD 55 price at the distillery. Golden color. Plenty of vanilla to the nose and palate when neat sipped and very faint nutmeg and clove. Dry burn at the end. Truly pity that this Spiced Rum tastes like a watered down version of something potentially good.
