Un rhum typique bajan. Avec un nez tout en équilibre sur le boisé , la coco et les épices douces. Aucun sucre ajouté et un véritable vieillissement de 10 ans minimum. Excellente entrée dans le monde des rhums de la Barbades.
God hints of vanilla, smooth start, and bold finish. This rum has a very dry, yet complex character. I would suggest this for anyone looking for a different type of rum. This is not your molasses Ron Zaya or Ron Zacapa. Dry, bold, smooth, and plentiful flavor.
I've seen this rum mentioned a lot lately. I decided it was time to give it a try. Outstanding bottle design. Fruity atoms. Tastes like... Well... Rum. But it has a very strong alcohol burn to me.
Den dufter sødt, men har en skarp bismag. Vil tro de fleste kan den men det er ikke lige min smag
Légèrement vanillé. Fin de bouche un peu sèche et nez très léger.
Not a smooth rum, takes some getting used to. Tried it neat, and it was too strong, but with a single ice cube to take the edge off, a much more enjoyable flavour and balance can be found. I would rate it higher if the price was more reasonable - but you gotta pay that extra cash for the fancy bottle, y'know?
Wyczekiwana pozycja na mojej liście. Przywiozłem z niedawnej podróży do Berlina. Kupiony w świetnie zaopatrzonym sklepie Dr. Kochan'a w dzielnicy Pankow.
It is damn tasty!!!! I like how it opens after a while. It a little bit dry but reminds me a Caribbean holidays.
Ok so thats not one word but my god, the strength of the vanilla is overwhelming. It almost fully blocks the oak in there. Initially it tastes very smooth and.extremely vanilla. Middle taste a bit af leather before stinging very nicely and spreading warmth in your chest.
"Buttery, nuttiness hits me and washes over my tongue in waves. It’s magical stuff..."
"RL Seale 10-Year review by the Rum Diaries Blog"
The nose is classically Bajan.
"It leaves notes of oak, nuts and smokiness behind in the finish which is long and pleasant. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This has been on my list for years but has been hard to find in my state, between being terminally sold out and shipping alcohol from out of state being illegal for so long (dumb blue laws). I finally got lucky tonight, and this one is simply wonderful. The nose is a little nutty/toasty. The initial sip provides a subtle, peppery burn that slowly expands from your tongue to the roof of your mouth before hitting your your throat and chest. That gives way to a buttery mix of nuts, oak, dryly sweet vanilla, and caramel. This rum is much more complex than the initial burn leads you to believe, and in only the best definition of the word. Best $25 I’ve ever spent. Buy with confidence. It’s a keeper.
