Smells of baking spices with cinnamon dominant. Tastes smooth, strongly of cinnamon, some ginger, and a little artificial. Maybe a little clementine on the finish, but not much. The cinnamon overwhelms most of the other flavors.
This is a nice if nothing special spiced rum. I thInk it’s perfect for winter since it has notes and taste of gingerbread, cinnamon and vanilla.
Spiced rums are a mixed bag that often taste too sweet and fake so this one is definitely we’re trying.
This might not be for me. It's loaded with so much spices that it smells and tastes like cheap store brand root beer and tastes like it too, including the unpleasant nasty sweetness. I did not enjoy this. Not sure if this is intended to be a sipper or a mixer but I don't think I'd like it in either place.
Light in colour, but full of aroma. The aroma is sweet, spiced with all-spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and citrus. The taste is very sweet, smooth and has a bit of a ginger bite at the end. Rather pleasant, but a bit too sweet to have more than one.
On the nose there is pimento, sandalwood, vanilla, orange zest and rosemary. Incense sticks, ginger and cola.
On the palate there is vanilla, ginger biscuits, marmalade, floral honey and pine tree. Cinnamon, Luxardo liqueur and oriental spices. The finish is medium with cloves and citrus.
Very pleasant. Not expensive. Quality bottle and presentation. Quite rich texture and finish and pleasant on the nose. Very good all round sipper.
Always keep this in the cupboard. A bit sweeter than my usual but so good as a cocktail ingredient and totally sippable too.

There is also a nice burn and hit of oak and a very definite rummyness to this spiced rum. .
"The initial entry is pretty sweet but the clementine and ginger flavours quickly add a slight bitterness which reduces the sweetness on the mid palate. The finish is of reasonable length."
