Sweet flavour with a nice spicy finish. Fully recommend.
Very pleasant. Not expensive. Quality bottle and presentation. Quite rich texture and finish and pleasant on the nose. Very good all round sipper.
Always keep this in the cupboard. A bit sweeter than my usual but so good as a cocktail ingredient and totally sippable too.
On the nose there is pimento, sandalwood, vanilla, orange zest and rosemary. Incense sticks, ginger and cola.
On the palate there is vanilla, ginger biscuits, marmalade, floral honey and pine tree. Cinnamon, Luxardo liqueur and oriental spices. The finish is medium with cloves and citrus.
Light in colour, but full of aroma. The aroma is sweet, spiced with all-spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and citrus. The taste is very sweet, smooth and has a bit of a ginger bite at the end. Rather pleasant, but a bit too sweet to have more than one.
This is a nice if nothing special spiced rum. I thInk it’s perfect for winter since it has notes and taste of gingerbread, cinnamon and vanilla.
Spiced rums are a mixed bag that often taste too sweet and fake so this one is definitely we’re trying.
What to say about this? Well, I am going to go with my first thoughts and feelings. I preferred it to Pyrat - which I find harsher and rougher. I don't prefer it to Rumbullion, but that's not down to the fruitiness and rumininess, so much as that I like the Christmassy feel to Rumbullion's blend.
To be fair, you can taste the base rum better here than in either of the other two above, so many may prefer that.
Not bad. I won't be buying a bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised.

There is also a nice burn and hit of oak and a very definite rummyness to this spiced rum. .
"The initial entry is pretty sweet but the clementine and ginger flavours quickly add a slight bitterness which reduces the sweetness on the mid palate. The finish is of reasonable length."
