Really different than Bumbu original, way more deep, balanced and raw. A little lack of personality for me, with flavours not too pronounced. But pleasant to drink anyway.
Seen this on the shelves in the past, and didn't purchase. Limited selection online so gave it a try. Pretty good, not bad, can't complain. Ok sipper.
Bottle of rum is very nice and also it is high quality rum
Well the taste is not bad I expected a lot more from this after trying it's lower-tier bottle of bumbu. Wildest rum isn't bad it is not something I would sip but while saying that it would make a good rum to mix with.
Got this one at the pub I am going out to, so I had to give it a try. Decent rum, slightly more expensive at the bar, overall made a phunny evening with, as it is, a rum experience. Still recommend.
Really different from the Bumbu, not so sweet, not so spiced, a better rum at all
This aged rum has plenty of character and smokiness. Apricot and toffee but also very boosy
Tried this upon recommendation from a friend. I don't mix or drink with ice, so the flavors of this rum were bold, but not overpowering. Definitely smoky as other have indicated, but not too much for me. I will definitely keep a bottle in the cabinet for variety. I would give a 7.5 if available.
Notes of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg also come into play. It has little burn to no burn.
"It is a fair bit drier. There is a touch of oak and a little bit of spice. Traces of ginger and little cinnamon. Itโs very very short finish wise."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The Bumbu is definitely a rum more then the original which is nice
Itโs smooth with a semi- sweetness to it
I gave it a 7 but might come back to adjust after another tasting
Just not sure ๐ค if itโs an actual 7 or maybe a 6
Much better then the sickening sweetness of the original so thatโs a start
