Savanna is a fantastic brand from Reunion that mostly produce so called Traditionnel Rhum and Grand Arome, both from molasses.
This one though is an Agricole. Most of their Agricole’s is named Creol and distilled in their Savalle copper column.
The nose is fresh, round, fruity and vegetal with lots of lime aromas.
In mouth and at the palate it’s intense, vegetal, fruity and spicy with tastes of lime and iodine and hints of rubber and bark.
The long finish is vegetal, dry and peppery with hints of lime and iodine.
Overall a round and smooth Agricole with intense aromas and tastes from nose to the rather long finish.

... from Reunion, Martinique and Brazil... I surrender :)

Firstly, that was Sāo Paulo bomb. Coconut, banana on nose. Smooth and fruity, gently sweet palate. Little hogo, mineral and vegetable notes. 1L bottle did not last for long. Used for classic and strawberry caipirinha.

Then two rockets fired: Savanna Creole 52° and Charrette Agricole 50°. Charrette kicks more, Savanna a bit smoother. Both have rich, sensational taste which is, basically, hard to compare to anything else. Naturally sweet, absolutely exotic and "something new under the moon" impression. The best for Ti Punch.

Finally, made two steps on the mines: Clement VSOP and Charrette Amber. Both are aged for 4ys, but feels like they are from different leagues. Cask influence made Clement very creamy, Charrette is watery, more subtle. Liked Charrette more with it's less pronounced cask. Clement is more whiskey like. Wish to have them both at 50...57° strength.

It is surprisingly soft and fresh with strong notes of vegetal and lychee. I'm delighted to try it in a kaffir lime ti-punch.

The nose is on the sugar cane very fresh. On the palate, the vegetal side is present with fruity notes and also salty notes. It's very soft and moderately long. It's starting to become good ...
