A bit of grappa and mezcal on the palate, white in colour.

If you don't like vinegar, capers, olives or gherkins, go somewhere else.

Agricole rumy se obecně těžko hodnotí,díky svoji specificnosti. Comunnal clairin je výborný exemplář, teoretický pitelny samostatně(pro zajimavost)ideální do drinků (daiquiri...). Rozhodně stojí za zkoušku.

First Haitian rum. Recommended, along with learning the history of it! Sharp taste

If you want to make an epic Daiquiri use this stuff. Nough said. Gonna try it for other cocktails later. Bit expensive for the mix (in my country) but sometimes you gotta impress the lady, and thoroughly enjoy one yourself.

Rhum pour faire de ti-punch comme dans les îles. Pas un rhum de dégustation.

Dry, grassy, almost savoury. You could drink it neat although I wouldn't choose to.
Instead, make unusual and amazing mojitos.
Having now also tried Sajous, I can taste that in here, but whereas in there, it overwhelms with it's intensity, here it's all well balanced.
If you want to shake up your cocktails, try this for size!

The smell is pretty bad. You get used to it after a while but you still don't breathe while drinking it. The taste is better, earthy and funky. Didn't like it the first time I tried it (probably because we tasted a few smooth and aged rums before it). The second time was a lot better. This is the closest to fruit spirits from all rums I've tasted.

I've been meaning to try this maker of rum for a long time since I've heard good things about them. So, I was pleasantly surprised when this came up in my Advent calendar.

On the nose it has the normal "grassy" notes that you would expect with an agricole but you also gets hints of fruit and nuts. The first taste is smooth and not overpowering like other agricoles can be and you get nice taste of citrus.

I think this one is made more for mixing than being a sipper and I will definitely use it for some mixed drinks in the future as well as trying some other offerings from this maker.

Banana and funk. A little surprising from a white rum. Smells awful. Tastes decent. More flavor than most white. It will make a nice mixer for certain cocktails. Far superior to anything Hampden produces.
