Visited the Longueteau Distillery while vacationing in Guadeloupe. Hands down the best distillery tour and completely open tasting bar. Longueteau Concerto was priced at EUR 87 per bottle at the distillery. One of 1,400 bottles. Very nice and sturdy bottle and label design. Dry Rhum Agricole flavors complemented with grass, spices, orange, citrus fruits, oak and vanilla to the nose and palate. Quite a burn at the end being so dry. Rhum Agricole fan boys can easily add 2 points to my score.

Read the various Longueteau reviews and thought I needed to try one, so picked up a sample of this.

The nose in an inviting blend of brown sugar and varnish, with an vegetal undercurrent. Interesting

The taste starts off great, similar to the smell, but then a massive burn kicks in, that I don't enjoy so much. As it fades, the grass finally appears, then the varnish and dry wood. The finish is pretty long and probably the best bit.

I believe the idea behind Concerto was not to be restricted by age statements, but I get the feeling there's just too much young rum in this blend. Curious to try more from Guadeloupe, but looking for more than this.
