La Favorite 2002 La Reserve du Chateau 12-Year

No interest, feel tjr sugar cane and some vanille, short final, not worth a bottle

Visited the La Favorite distillery while vacationing in Martinique. Spectacular self guided distillery tour accompanied with a tasting bar. Millésime 2002 Fûts de Chêne was EUR 95 per bottle at the distillery. Very nice old school bottle and label design. Deep mahogany color. Prunes, spices and massive amount of oak to your nose and palate. Super smooth at the end. Absolutely a spectacular La Favorite and very close to the La Flibuste on smoothness.
