This alcohol taste hits right away with a strong, overpowering scent. It continues with just as strong an initial taste. I just can't drink spirits like these.

I visited the distillery recently and agree that it is not my choice either. Not bad, but just not great.

I tried this rum at their distillery and found the blend of spices to be odd, just didn't agree with my taste buds.

Weird spice mixture from Texas 3 out of 10
Rum tasting in Houston continued onwards with Railean Spiced Rum. Unique bottle and label design. Light golden color. Pure alcohol and plenty of spices mixed altogether without any clear plan to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong but sweet burn at the end. Not my cuppa tea.
