Pusser's British Navy ”Nelson’s Blood” 15-Year

One of the classics... the only thing I don`t like is that it has 24g/L sugar added.

Fantastisk historie, og destilleret i et mere end 200 år gammelt potstill anlæg af træ, skaber store forventninger. Men smagen er unik og ganske lækker, lidt cognac præg og fantastisk krydret, uden det virker (eller er) kunstigt.

I'm sorry that i can't share the enthusiasm. I had high expectations, and this rum is truly a great,complex one,and i agree that everyone should try it. My taste may differ of the mass, as i prefer sweeter,fruity rums like those from Barbados or Peru.I tried Pusser's 15yo in the Ceramic Hipflask,and maybe the aromas been influenced. Nevertheless it's a wonderful rum but the taste reminded me on a single malt whisky,in the nose it was medical and sappy. Whisky-Lovers will like this rum ,those who prefer sweet rums should go with Barbados or Peru

Aroma: molasses, fruitig, aarde.
Smaak: zeer zacht, zoet, karamel,.kruiden, hout.
Nasmaak: lang, zoet.

Een blend van 6 rums gedistilleerd in "wooden pot stills" en zijn gerijpt in eikenhouten vaten op de Britse Maagdeneilanden, Guyana en Trinidad.

Heerlijk rum en een perfecte huisstijl met 300+ jaar geschiedenis.

Never heard about this rum and it's a very good surprise, a mix of strong and sweetness with a long finish.
A must have !

Finally bought this one, had a soapy like flash of flavor at first. Now the bottle has had a gasp of air, the flavors are woody, warm, and deep. This has a uniqueness like the Zafra, a bold but developed journey of flavor!!!

Le Pusser's 15 est pour moi est une belle représentation du rhum "standard". Il est bien travaillé, il a du corps, un nez très agréable, une finale assez longue. En bouche il est commence sur une note moelleuse et sucré mais l'alcool se fait ensuite rapidement sentir pour virer sur quelque chose de plus viril ! Je trouve ce rhum très bien fait mais je ne sais pas pourquoi il m'ennuie un peu, je le trouve trop classique. Bref je ne pense pas racheter une bouteille quand il sera terminé mais l'avenir nous le dira...
