So easy to drink, no burn at all. It's a bit like drinking rum and cherryade (I'd imagine!). Great for something different
The cherry taste is very smooth and so easy to drink

Best of the 5 Old J rums I tried. This SHOCKED me. Not sure if this means it is good or that the other 4 Old J rums are REALLY bad. But I suspect the latter.

I was less than impressed with the Cherry Spiced as it tasted quite artificial and overly sweet. The spice is almost lost among the candy-like cherry flavour.

If you love Pepsi cherry max. Order a Pepsi max with old j cherry and you will be very happy.

Easily drinkable, nice alternative to the spiced old J. Little cherry kick lends itself to a cola mixer

just not a fan of these fruity rums normal spiced great this cherry one not so good
Lovely cherry twist on the old J spiced, but very sweet. So one is enough.

This is pretty sweet but I like that. It's easy enough to swig down and even better in a coke. (EVEN better if you put in cherry Pepsi max!!) This is better better koppabergs attempt but don't go in expecting a depth of flavour. Mediocre rum and artificial flavour. But it'll do the job!

I find the Old J spiced to be too sweet and too artifical. I actually prefer Rolling Calf as I think it is less sweet and more interesting in terms of the vanilla and lime hit - and it has a sort of dry tang on the tongue. This is actually, much more interesting than the Vanilla (ie Spiced) Old J. The cherry is noticeable on the nose and taste, but it is definitely not overpowering. It's not quite subtle, but it's medium-subtle. In that sense, it's refreshing because a lot of flavoured spirits are a bit overpowering. At 35 per cent, there will be those who mark this out, straight off, but it's worth a go, even if it does retail at more than the Spiced.
