For a Bacardi this one is ok. I truly am not a Bacardi lover at all!! I always say that Bacardi is better in advertising than in taste! But in my opinion, this one and the Bacardi 10 years are not so so bad as the rest of their chemical rubbish!

A good Bacardi rum with some age and that typical Bacardi flavour. Makes a very good rum and coke ,easy drinking at a good price $40 @ LCBO

The standard for cheaper midrange runs. Sweet enough with a little spice. Just a good all around sipper with a rock.

A real surprising find - its a Barcardi that actually is very nice. Whilst being extremely light on our noses we weren't expecting much but actually the taste comes punching through, citrus and light woody notes all the way through and ends very creamy and with a little hint of something spicy. £31 retail and this is a really great rum for that price, we'd easily replace this bottle with a new one when it ends. We're rum snobs and are so really shocked by how it came out but the lack of smell lets it down - good, yes, just not good on all points.

Rating: 6/10

Smell - light, sweet, vanilla
Taste - rich in flavour, full-bodied, citrus, cedarwood, cocoa
After Taste - medium to long, creamy, a little hint of spice that isn't overwhelming

Евтин входящ ром, който може да се пие чист или разреден с кока-кола или друго. За 25€ нямах големи очаквания, а и той не ме изненада с нищо.

I tend to think of Bacardi as being both overly distinctive and overly average. It’s fine, but overpowers any cocktail. Anyway. Reservations put to one side, this does taste a lot more complex than that - as you’d hope from 8 years in the barrel... but it’s still pretty average. It’s fine to sip neat (which is what I generally do), but it’s no more than that. It’s a touch unrefined and a little paint-stripper-y. Not so much as to be unpleasant, but not in the top tier for sure.

Light and easy to drink.
Not sweet.... good flavors, but, the distillate is not very refined.

Tu ron añejo que siempre te saca de apuros, y se defiende frente a tus amigos - a buen precio

Bought this for a fairly reasonable price of $29CAD. Keeping in mind this is still a Bacardi rum, it’s certainly a step up from their mixers, but not competing with other “neat-drinking” rums.
They’ve done a pleasant job of blending the apricot to start and finish the tasting notes, however the typical Bacardi spice is what sticks around in the palate. This rum pairs well with cigars, as the spicey - leatherniness overpowers that of a Cuban, allowing you to taste other notes in the cigar.
For the price, I’d recommend - but wouldn’t make my top lists.
