Dominican Club Añejo Reserve

Enjoyed a bottle of Dominican Club 5y Añejo Rum. Bottle and label design look cheap and boring. Golden color. Very strong oak and woodiness on the nose and palate. Quite a strong burn at the end. This is a mixer rum by all counts. Whisky lovers can add 2 points.

I saw the bottle and figured I would give it shot. Not bad and sold at a fair price. I have other so called better rums, this was better. Smooth and easy to sip.
