Tried the VSOP yesterday. It was outstanding. My favorite agricole. I did not expect much from this one. It isn’t as good as the VSOP but it beats any Clement I have tried including the Clement VSOP. Smooth as silk. Earthy, grassy notes evident, but not overpowering. Some subtle sweetness. Complex with bright fruits and sugar cane. Thus is a great value. If you like agricole check out La Mauny. Definitely my favorite agricole distiller to date.
La Mauny 1749 Ambré is an aged Rhum Agricole from Martinique, an island in the Caribbean. 1749 Ambré is matured for at least 12 months before it is bottled.
