The 10y Cincuenta has an amazingly beautiful packaging and a spectacular bottle and label design all the way to a glass cork. Very deep dark brown color.

Sweet fruits, caramel, little chocolate, some vanilla. Strong at first but becomes more mild after you let it hang in the mouth. Intense, pretty complex taste. Very nice coulour, dark amber, also beautiful packaging. High proof 50%. In enjoyed it but there are other brands I preffer. Although good rum.

Smells of spirit, but taste like heaven. It really explodes in your mouth with lots of flavour, and it hangs in your mouth for a long time.

Der starke Zwillingsbruder des Aniversario Reserva 10-Year.
Sattes Bernstein im Glas.
In der Nase (etwas zuwarten, Luft tut diesem Rum gut) leckere Düfte von Fässern die soeben getoastet und mit Schokolade übergossen worden sind.
Im Gaumen ein mundfüllender, kräftiger Auftritt. Mit dunkler Schokolade überzogene Karamellstangen mit Pfeffer garniert. Sehr lecker, du willst mehr !
Im Abgang lang nach Karamell.
Ein gutgemachter high proof Rum der jedem "Cuba libre" ein gewisses Plus verleiht. Auch zum pur geniessen. 7+

Rich amber in the glass.
In the nose (wait a little, air does this rum good) delicious scents of barrels just toasted and covered with chocolate.
In the palate a mouth filling, strong appearance. Caramel sticks covered with dark chocolate and garnished with pepper. Very tasty, you want more!
In the finish long after caramel.
A well made high proof rum which gives every "Cuba libre" a certain plus. Also to enjoy on its own. 7+

You need to let it sit for a while..after that it develops a great chocolate-walnut aroma.

Very nice rum, it has the sweets, it has gentle burn for whole time, the taste is fruit with caramel and the smell is nice with hints of vanilla.

Very nice aroma with hoey, bannanna and pears. Smooth taste with ballanced sweetness - you would not guess 50%. Long aftertaste with fruit layers.

Caramel, butterscotch nose with maybe a little cherry. It’s a full, strong flavour, with fruity taste and a little vanilla and leather. Maybe a little sweet vs dry, but just a tad. Slightly bitter and smokey finish, medium length with a nice spice. I even mixed with a little rum at the end, does take the edge off but the smokey profile doesn’t mix well with sweet.
I could see some liking this, especially coming from whiskey. It’s not for me, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I wouldn’t say overly complex, but well balanced and some notes come through after a while.
