Mixing with Ginger Ale was fine, but I'm not sure there are a ton of other uses for this.... Can't really recommend.

Obviously, rum should have a sweet and pleasant taste. This is far from it. The apple taste is so artificial, it's even beyond the realm of Jolly Rancher territory, and it doesn't have the smoothness to give it a redeemable like some other flavoured rums on the market. I'd say it's only use would be for someone who enjoys extremely sweet and candy like shots.

Bad execution. Good if you collect the bottles in the cannon shot series.

Had a rum tasting on a sunny Saturday afternoon, because why not. Captain Morgan Apple Smash Rum bottle looks very fresh and unique trying to mimic a little cannonball. Light golden color. Awful artificial green apple is the immediate flavor bursting out, but also pure alcohol to the nose and palate. Very strong burn at the end. Better skip this one for your own sanity. Can't even mix this one out with any sodas.

Can't even think of a good mixer for this. The apple taste is beyond fake and comes through with every mixer I've tried
