Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Angenehme, zurückhaltende Süsse, samtig weich im Geschmack, lang anhaltender Angang, nicht die geringste Spur von Alkoholschärfe. Geschmack nach Kokos, Zimt und Muskat, dezentes Holz im Hintergrund mit leichten fruchtigen Noten. Wichtig ist es dem Rum ein wenig Zeit im Glas zu geben - dann ist er so richtig gut!

A l'odeur il fait penser aux rochers à la coco. Au gout il est tres doux et on retrouve un tput légé gout de rocher coco en plus des aromes de vanille. Très doux et très agréable

Un nez fin aux arômes de vanille, une bouche onctueuse et agréable, et une finale longue et soyeuse.

This Plantation is in my point of view one of the the best rums for this price range
Nice color and a rich flavor that I would think suites most people
For me it´s a little bit too sweet, that’s why it doesn’t score higher

This is it for me.Sweet a lot of flavor and a good mid burn tasted.
Not giving 10/10 you never know it all whats out there heh.

This rum is great, smooth, you feel coconut, banana, mango and vanilla. Full taste and beautiful after taste. If you like coconut you love this rum. Also good price. One of the best for daily sipping...

Sugar and slight fruit on the nose.
Fruity interesting taste, almonds, actually marzipan.
Still not that mature, there are better plantations but it is good.
Great finish, deep, rich and smooth but doesn't last that long.

On the nose I don't find vanilla as some other reviews have mentioned. It is a nice array of flavours but, coconut, marzipan and maybe tobacco hit me predominantly. Smooth going down and leaves a nice after taste.
This is a excellent sipper and probably my favourite. I love the look and it's absolutely fantastic to sip on. It's $76 CAD for the bottle which isn't as bad as many high end rums with less quality, this rum is great value.
If you're looking to spoil yourself and get a nice bottle - do it with this one. It's mid range price for a high end rum.

Bought this on recommendation of Mario from the United States who is a member on here.
Very smooth sipper with no throat burn. Very long lasting after taste.
Gave it a 9 only cause it's just not as great as El Dorado 21 or Diplomatico 2000 Single Vintage.
