Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

Très rond avec de belles notes de vanille et de coco.

Enjoyed this. One of the better sipping rums I've had.

After reading several reviews, i purchased the rum and tried it immediately(not while I was working, much after). The taste of vanilla and caramel, with subtle sweetness was remarkable. I got no harshness or sour notes. I tried the first neat, and the second with ginger ale, my preference, and loved them. I would give it a 10 but I am going on the belief that there may always be one better out there, and enjoying the search! And the price was unbelievable for the quality, $55 Canadian, can't go wrong.

Was just browsing the site when i stumbled upon this bottle, read a bunch of reviews and decided to get it as a christmas present for myself. Its delicious !

I've just cracked open my bottle of this and had my first dram and wow this is seriously good rum. Its even better than my current favorite which is El Dorado 12.

Its a very complex rum with a creamy feel with notes of oak, coconut, spices, toffee and chocolate. Everything is perfectly balanced from the sweetness to the smooth taste which all builds up to a fiery finish from the alcohol giving you a strong warmth as you swallow. The taste also lingers in your throat for a good while after. Its also not as dark and heavy as some rums and has a lighter feel to it on the taste front.

I can't see how rum can get much better than this. Wow!

Très doux, mais avec quand même une profondeur prêt une longueur tout à fait respectables ainsi qu'un léger côté boisé très intéressant.
