Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Very smooth, with flavours of vanilla, coconut and bourbon cask.
Personally i think the coconut is too much in this great rum.
But its very nice !

Mycket lovande inledning, väldigt mycket vaniljkola, på vippen till för söt men väl avvägd
Ganska stark spritighet som dämpar sötman snabbt men som tyvärr också lite tar bort eftersmaken.

For me..this is the rum for any occasion. Didn't let me down. Love this one-- perfectly ballanced.

Sehr schöner Geschmack nach Karamell, Schokolade, Banane, Vanille, Früchten. Süß, weich, ausgewogen. Insgesamt super.

Ein typischer Vertreter der Süssen Rums. Er ist sehr rund und ausgewogen. Ein every bodies darling.

har inga klagomål på den den är god men lite tråkig
I believe this rum appeals to so many because its truly smooth and very simple. I am not an expert, but 2 most prominent things i can taste here are the oak and coconut. Reminds me christmas. This rum is not complex at all, but its simplicity, what makes it outstanding. Very unique, hard to mistaken it. A must try for a rum lovers.
It would be sin to not drink this straight. Maybe bit more sweet than i would like, with almost no aftertaste. But still one of best rums i had chance to taste.

Sweet suggar and vanila taste. Little bit burning in mouth, smooth end.
One of the very good ones, but I still prefer Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva 12yo.
This is a good rum and i enjoy sipping it neat, but there are definitely better ones out there.

Unique rum with hint of pineapple aftertaste, wish it was just a bit smoother but for the cost ($45ish) I can't complain. Definitely value to dollar, only rum that beats price to value is dos maderas.
