Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

I received this bottle as a gift and I was sad when it was gone so fast. I enjoyed the wonderful aroma and long smooth finish this rum offers.
Buy a bottle if you get a chance.

Le meilleur de la gamme plantation. Très beau packaging et gout typique bajan reconnaissable avec ce vieillissement en fut de cognac qui ajoute une touche de brandy dans la palette aromatique. Trop de sucre ajouté par contre ce qui gâche un peu un rhum qui aurait surement valu un 8/10 sans ajout.

Toto byla láska na první ochutnání. Vůně není tak ohromující - ovoce(banán), vanilka, kokos.

Chuť je ale famózní - i když mám rád sladké rumy, tento byť trošku sušší, je asi nejlepší, co jsem zatím ochutnal - znovu banány, tropické ovoce, kokos.

Má navíc parádní dozvuk, vždy se těším na další skleničku. Všem doporučuji!!

Trevlig rom men lite stickig eftersmak. Mycket smak men med en lite besk eftersmak.

Dejlig rom med smag af karamel, vanilje, krydderier og en lille smule træ. God lang eftersmag. I den søde ende.

It's good, the taste is intersting but it's not exactly my favorite kind of taste.

Plantation XO is a very smooth rum with a surprisingly strong after coconut after taste, I know many rums do have a subtle coconut component but this is much more pronounced than most. Its sweetness lends this to an after dinner drink to complement a nice expresso. It is defiantly a sipping rum if you mix this you would lose its distinctiveness.

This rum is fantastic. Smooth, delicious molasses sweetness, and a hint of toasted coconut mid-palate which is just enough as I do not typically enjoy coconut. I really enjoy this one and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Not exactly my cup of tea (maybe a little more fruity than O would have preferred) but a really really great rum

Zacapa is my favorite, but this Rum is not far behind! So smooth and lean. Fruity!
