Beautiful rum. Smooth, packed with flavour, complex finish. Love it.

8/10. Very good sipper. But I like better Admiral Rodney Extra Old 12-Year (8.5/10).

I was basically overwhelmed with brown sugar, from nose to finish just a lot of it. Maybe a nice entry level rum for folks for have a sweeter palate, but not as complex or balanced as I typically go for.

Promosso!

This has what I am coming to think of as typical St. Lucia notes.
It has a richness and depth that belies its 40%. There's tobacco, leather, cask, a touch of sweetness along with subtle brown sugar. There's also a feint blast of marmalade in there too.
It's relatively simple, and there's a pretty big burn to accomodate too, but it's tasty and enjoyable in its own right.
Not sure I would choose it over Chairman's Reserve, as I like pot still flavours, but having had a dram or two of this, I might be persuaded!

Strong flavor but not overpowering hot. Smooth. All the good components of a fine rum!

Terrific rum. For me raisins, vanilla and wood more dominant than the few other flavors. Nose is fruity and wood. This totally reminds me of Zafra 21 year which certainly is not a bad thing. Smooth as can be at least on the rocks. Not overly sweet or dry. If you are in the mood for a fruity rum with nice depth and little bite to it then you cannot go wrong.

Great rum from saint lucia. Full bodied and complex. The first sip hit the spot right away. Recomend this to anyone.

Not too sweet, not too dry, very aromatic.
Nice bottle, a little expensive for an all day but very pleasant rum.
