Really liked this one!
On the nose there is candied banana, orgeat, pears and English Breakfast tea. Black pepper, anise, raisins and caramel.

On the palate there is ripe banana, mint, English Breakfast tea, cocoa nibs and nail polish. Oak spices, passion fruit and sultanas. Finish is long with tropical fruits and spice.

Nose is strong, with molasses, cocoa, caramel, tobacco, vanilla, banana. Even in a blind test, you could make out it would be a Jamaican rum. Palate is smooth, initially with resins, toffee and hints of tobacco and lasting in all the funkiness you d excpect it, pineapple, banana and spices. Finish is lingering with oak presence, vanilla, nuts and maybe pistachio (?), only drawback is that i feel a slight tart edge towards the very end. Price is a bit bigger than it should but it isn't a big issue. Would maybe rate it 9, but i have some stuff i enjoy more in there xD

Estery, balanced sweetness, light oak, a bit of sherry?, hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Worthy Park mostly does mass market rums, and this attempt at going "premium" is conservative but still interesting.

Strong burn, but opens nicely with a little water.

Very nice, but pricey.

Definitely Jamaican rums are unique! The so called “funk” gives these rums a very special touch. This is no different in that sense: banana flavor, pineapple, vanilla, and some toffee (slightly sweet). I found it a little rough (i.e. burn) in the finish. Good value for money.

Nice golden hue. Thick legs on the glass.
The smell of the typical jamaican fuck but not over powering. The taste of burnt banana ,, toffee and a slight hint of vanilla . Some cream on the back end with a slight burn on the finish.

Smooth for a Jamaican rum, nice change of pace, but could use more funk.

Nice aroma, a lighter color rum, Good flavor, but does have a strong burn at the end.
Jamaican Rum, Pot Still Distilled, nice heavy bottle it's packaged in.

45% ABV. Aged 6–10 years.

I'm afraid I was so enamored of this rum I didn't take good notes. Typical banana-forward funk, tempered by some glorious tropical aging and blending. I really, really liked it—indeed it's my favorite of Worthy Park's own releases (including the older, higher-strength rum I tried).

The only downside is it's rather expensive, compared to similarly aged (and older) rums coming out of Jamaica, Barbados, and Guyana. I'd like to see the price go down quite a bit. As for the score, I'm wavering between an 8 and a 9, but for now, until I try it again...

8+, 9-

A fine jamaican clasic rum. Great finish, great taste. A lot of fruits, beautiful.
