Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva

Works out good in cocktails which require aged rums but he is also a nice sipper, has hints of caramell and vanilla and is a smooth one ;)

Very Nice Smooth rum, great daily drinker

I was introduced to Pampero Aniversario by a bartender I knew at a bar I frequented often when I work in NYC. I was looking for something I could enjoy throughout the evening, but would have the flavor to stand up through snack and smoke. The Aniversario is sweet caramel and toffee goodness with light hints of oak. Best when enjoyed alone, but also does well with a splash of ginger beer. Still one of my go to rums.

Not as smooth as the the Reserva but still a very sippable rum

I love the leather pouch my bottle came in. The rum is a very good sipper. It's quite good for the price. I found this in NJ.

This is another good sipping rum. You have hints of oak, sweet molasses, and toffee. Highly recommended.

Need to add i love the presentation in its little pouch. Small things eh? ;-)
Anyways the rum is a nice balance of caramel, vanilla, nuts and tropical spices with the slightest bit of gingerbread all without being overly sweet. Fine on the rocks or in a cocktail.

Pampero Aniversario is a blend of 4-6 year old, continuous-still rums of Venezuela. Its unique bottle is enclosed in a leather pouch.

Nose is well balanced and is of molasses, some oak and almond. It has almost no vapor of alcohol.
Pampero Aniversario is rather heavy than sweet.It combines oak with a little sweetness in an interesting way and has caramel, toffee and cacao with a hint of honey in the end.
It has a persistent finish of toffee, roasted nuts and some oak.

Due to its high qualitiy and moderate price - it is hard to find compareable quality at this price - Pampero Aniversario is a excellent choice for beginners and will certainly find many friends among experts.

well, a bit sweet, full and rich at the same time - lovely for sipping

I love this product. Perfectly balanced lovely oaky sweetness with a dry finish.
Read a great tasting note for this a number of years back; If the pipe smoking, cravat wearing, classics quoting members of an oak panelled edwardian gentleman's club, had their deepest thoughts distilled and preserved in amber...it would taste like this.
