Der Rum spielt für mich in der Mittelklasse, leider steht ein recht scharfer Alkoholgeschmack im Vordergrund welcher bei anderen Rums in dieser Preisklasse nicht zu finden ist. Bei uns ist der Rum leider auch zimlich teuer, zum Mischen z.B. für Cuba Libre wäre er gut geeignet, ist jedoch etwas schade für diesen Preis.

Taste begins with strong alcoholic flavour, but give it a time, third sip won't dissapoint you. Still not sure if it is worth the money thou.

About $30 a bottle at my local liquor store. Nice vanilla note, not too smooth or sweet like a spiced rum - still has a little bite. A good daily sipper. I typically go neat with everything I drink.

Don’t get confuse with marketing strategies and advertising when you are about to spending your money in Rum. If you are looking sipping rum only this may not be for you but, if you like the same bottle to sip and mix with cola and also want a fine spirit not to expensive here is your all in one sipping like an aged rum, all in one. This rum is a great rum. Pampero Aniversario is not one of those aged rum, but trust me, is very, very close to one of those. if you enjoy cigars the smoke experience with this Rum will be exceptional.

The rating is affected by price little bit, but I can very recommend rum yet. Very good choice as present for more experienced. Very nice leather bag will stay forever i hope! :)

One of the best venezuelan rum tasty sweet flavored i prefer drink it on the rocks or Strait, if you havent drink it give it a chance youll be pleased

A bit sweet for my taste, but fortunately I notice that diminishing as de facto decanting by imbibing lets it oxygenate. Initially, I nearly donated to my "can't have enough sugar in my rum" friend, but stuck it out and consider this an excellent value. It is 95% as satisfying as Zacapa 23, though lacking that rum's depth due to older rums in the blend. 'Air' really works a nice number here, and transforms it. Yes, it has added sugars but unlike Zaya 12, it's well integrated added sweetness. $32-ish here, and a repeat purchase in my book.
