It's a decent enough rum. I picked it up because of the bottle. I was drinking it on the rocks with a splash of tonic and a squeeze of lime.
Some acricole characteristics due to the cane juice component, and some molasses character. IMO not really worth the usual ~$35-40 price, but I have picked up a couple bottles on sale for $25 at which price it is a decent buy.
Reminds me of a Rhum.
Great alone, smooth, clean, and tasteful
picked up some of this out of town it was very good rum very light tasting good with splash of diet coke I cant find it any more local
I received this as a gift and really like it but for the price I'll take Plantation 3 Star all day.
Like the bottle, I think this has a woodsy flavor. A little harsh neat but good as a mixer. Although, it is too expensive to be a good value...especially mixing.
Smooth as velvet but oh so limited. Bring back production!
Flavorful and very mild, smooth and a bit buttery. Delicate and is best suited for daiquiris, but there are much better rums out there for daiquiris though, rums that has character. This one is too delicate.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a pretty good mixer. It is easily available in the PA stores.
