Saint James XO 6-Year

Got it as a gift, and I don't like it at all. There is some strange technical smell and taste. I don't like it so much, that I'm using it only for cooking (tiramisu) and I'm waiting to finish the bottle.

You should definitely try it. Strong sense of grass and cognaq like after taste.

Assolutamente piatto sia all'olfatto che al gusto, per niente persistente.
Dopo diverse bottiglie dalla Martinica questa è l'unica che non ricomprerei.

Jedná se o směs 6 - 10 letých rumů zrajících v malých dubových sudech.

Aroma: Svěží, třtinové, lehce citrusy, hezká, výrazná vůně
Chuť: Řízná, kořenitá, po chvíli začne lehce pálit
Dozvuk: Bylinkový, lehce minerální, sušené meruňky, střední a moc dobrý

Další povedený agricole - pochutnal jsem si.

Good quality rum, easy to sip straight.
My first experience with Agricole rum and it feels a bit the grassy flavor.
Just the right amount of sweetness and nice aroma.

... Yet it is flawless. Good body, a little complexity and these lovely oaky notes bringing delicious spices, a little pastries, on top of the sugarcane freshness. Delightful woody-goody stuff, and perfect match with a Partagas D4.

I receive this rum like gift, it was something new taste of whisky obtained from barrels of whisky where it was stored for several year. I am not big fun of whisky and therefore this one not was my favourite one.

Tres leger et frais en bouche, avec un retour puissant. Nuances boisées

U ST. James XO je na agricole relativně jemná a proto ho lze doporučit pro ty co chtějí agricole vyzkoušet. Nebude to takový náraz jako například v případě Dillonu.
